Updated: Do you ever get exposed to supportconfig files from servers that do not have access to update repositories? Or do you find it difficult to relate to patch numbers of updates (not) installed in updates.txt of a supportconfig?

If so, how do you easily find out if there are pending updates available from SUSE/Novell to be installed on the system to make it up to date?

ovpnstatd is a status collector daemon for OpenVPN. Apart of collecting data of openvpn-sessions, it also displays the data on a simple but useful web page. The program also provides a hook for sending “passive notifications” to Nagios with “send_nsca”.

To help in using SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 to the fullest, I have created a couple of Addon Discs you can use to enhance SLED11 Service Pack 1. The discs do include most of the libraries needed to have full multimedia playback functionality, along with many of the applications that I use on a regular basis that are not available on the official media.
