Nils Brauckmann, President & General Manager
As President and General Manager for SUSE, Nils Brauckmann is responsible for leading the development, sales, marketing, technical support, pre-sales and consulting services for SUSE open source solutions worldwide.
Brauckmann has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, serving in cross-functional and international management positions. He first joined WRQ in 1994 (acquired by Attachmate® in 2004) and has held various management roles across Attachmate sales, marketing and support organizations in EMEA. Other companies he has worked for include Novell® and Siemens Nixdorf, where he started his technology career. Brauckmann has considerable leadership experience in due diligence and integration processes associated with mergers and acquisitions.
Brauckmann holds a diploma in Safety Engineering from the University of Wuppertal in Germany.
Edwin Bowman, Vice President of NA Sales
As Vice President of NA Sales, Edwin Bowman is responsible for leading SUSE solution sales activities in the United States and Canada.
Bowman has worked 22 years in IT and brings extensive sales management experience to his role. He previously served as Vice President and General Manager, Latin America; leading sales and operations for Attachmate, NetIQ®, Novell and SUSE. Prior to joining Micro Focus International, Bowman was a sales director for NCR Corporation. He brings a wealth of knowledge in technology solutions to his role, as well as strong skills in working with valued enterprise customers.
Bowman holds Bachelor's degrees in management and finance and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
Sergio Toshio Mituiwa, Vice President & General Manager, Latin America
Sergio Toshio Mituiwa is responsible for leading regional sales teams, the channel partner ecosystem, marketing, professional services and enabling customer success for Attachmate, NetIQ, Novell and SUSE across Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Toshio has had a distinguished career within the organization since joining in 2004. Most recently, he served as Brazil Country Manager for Micro Focus International. Previously, he spent 14 years with Deloitte Consulting. He brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience as well as a deep breadth of knowledge of enterprise software.
Toshio holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Sao Paulo (FIA), and bachelor’s degree in computer science.
Ronald de Jong, Vice President of EMEA Sales
As Vice President of EMEA sales for SUSE, Ronald de Jong is responsible for leading SUSE solution sales activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
de Jong has over 20 years of experience in business development and sales oriented positions in the IT industry. In 2006, de Jong started as General Manager at Novell. Earlier, he worked at Computer Associates as Channel Director, was Director of World Wide Business Partners at Compaq, and managed World Wide Global and Corporate Accounts for HP after its merger in 2000. As General Manager Benelux at Novell, he was responsible for all Novell activities in the Benelux market. In addition he has served as Vice President Data Center, and was responsible for all data center solution sales activities in EMEA.

Ralf Flaxa, Vice President of Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering for SUSE, Ralf Flaxa is responsible for leading the global team of engineers that develop SUSE solutions.
Flaxa joined and has contributed to the Linux community since 1991, and has over 15 years of international management experience working for global organizations building Linux products. In 2002, he joined SUSE, and later Novell, where he has held various engineering management roles related to the delivery of SUSE solutions, such as SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and openSUSE®.
Flaxa holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.
Boris Ivancic, Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific
Boris Ivancic is responsible for all Attachmate, NetIQ, Novell and SUSE activities in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, China, India and Singapore.
Prior, he was the Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand for Lotus Development Corporation, and has also held various sales and channel management roles within Compaq.
Ivancic holds an electrical engineering degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University).
Michael Miller, Vice President of Global Alliances & Marketing
As Vice President of Global Alliances and Marketing for SUSE, Michael Miller is responsible for growing the SUSE business globally through key alliances, innovative marketing and strategic business development.
Miller has over 16 years of experience across a broad range of global leadership roles, including senior management positions in engineering, product management, marketing, sales and business development. Miller applies a practical and results-driven approach to building teams, creating alliances and developing solutions for the enterprise market.
Miller holds an MBA from the University of Baltimore, a Masters in English from Western Washington University and a Bachelors degree in Literature from Marquette University.
Ron Milton, Vice President, Global Services & Customer Value Realization
Ron Milton is responsible for leading professional services, technical support, product-line sales engineering, education and training programs at Micro Focus International. In this capacity, Milton is responsible for programs to ensure customers realize maximum value from SUSE solutions.
With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Milton joined SUSE from International Data Group (IDG), where he drove operations and strategy for Computerworld, InfoWorld and ITWorld as their executive vice president. He also served as chairman of the board of trustees for the Computerworld IT Awards Foundation. Previously, he has also held a variety of marketing, sales and channel management positions at GLA Computer Systems and Bull HN Information Systems.
Milton holds a graduate diploma for Strategic Marketing Management from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University.
