SUSE Manager is the solution from SUSE which allows for better Linux server management, automated software management, server provisioning and monitoring. If you want more details, check the SUSE Manager product page or the SUSE Manager documentation.

During BrainShare, many of our customers requested the ability to use SUSE Manager to manage OES Systems as well. Well, we took your feedback seriously and recently added support to manage OES11 systems using SUSE Manager. In addition to managing OES11, it can be used to upgrade to OES11SP1.

More information can be found here:

Thank you for your suggestions. And once you have had a chance to implement SUSE Manager for managing OES, let us know how you like it!

Disclaimer: As with everything else in the SUSE Blog, this content is definitely not supported by SUSE (so don't even think of calling Support if you try something and it blows up).  It was contributed by a community member and is published "as is." It seems to have worked for at least one person, and might work for you. But please be sure to test, test, test before you do anything drastic with it.
