smt-ncc-scc-migration displays "duplicate entry" messages

This document (7016109) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 3 (SLES 11 SP3)

Situation

When the smt-ncc-scc-migration is performed, it stops and the following warning is displayed:

2015-01-19 16:12:52 SMT::SCCSync - [error]  DBD::mysql::db do failed: Duplicate entry '100641-100638' for key 'pdid_extid_unq' at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/SMT/SCCSync.pm line 725.

Resolution

This is just a warning and hasn't prevented the migration or will impede future functionality.
To confirm that the migration has been successfully performed, "smt-repos" can be run in a terminal. A successful migration will display the SLES-12 repositories in the list of repositories. Alternatively they are also be displayed in the YaST SMT Management.

If the error messages also occur when running smt-scc-sync or smt-sync please see the following TID:

TID 7017148 - smt-scc-sync and smt-sync returning mysql::db do failed: Duplicate entry errors

Cause
