Essential industry event for enterprise Linux users, partners and community enthusiasts set for November in Orlando

SUSE® today announced its annual global user conference, SUSECon, will be held November 12-15, 2013, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The annual event has become the essential conference for SUSE users to learn about and see first-hand the latest open source developments from SUSE including what’s new in enterprise Linux, cloud computing, big data, server management and integrated systems.

SUSE will bring together its seasoned and knowledgeable experts, its strong, industry-leading technology partners, and its showcase of successful customers to offer a comprehensive agenda featuring both business and technical advice for IT professionals. Because of the positive feedback from the 500+ attendees at SUSECon 2012, guests in 2013 can look forward to an enhanced experience including more presentations from SUSE engineering and global customers. Conference organizers have added a full day to the SUSECon 2013 schedule to allow guests to increase session attendance by as much as 50 percent.

“We are very motivated by the positive feedback from SUSECon 2012. A prevalent theme in the comments we received was the unexpected and highly valued access attendees had to presenters and subject matter experts at the conference,” said Michael Miller, vice president of global alliances and marketing, SUSE. “For twenty years, SUSE has remained committed to adapting our solutions so our customers can succeed. We do this by listening and engaging in meaningful dialogue with our customers, which is why SUSECon will be an extraordinary experience.”
