Today, SUSE Linux, the international technology leader and provider of Open Source solutions, presented "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server" version 7, based on the latest Linux kernel 2.4 and optimized for deployment in high-performance servers.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 7 comprises of all server services relevant in Linux in addition to the operating system basis optimized for stability and security. Furthermore, the Enterprise Server 7 enables the implementation of e-mail, Internet, and application services, as well as file and print services in heterogeneous networks (UNIX, Windows 9x/NT/2000, Novell Netware, MacOS).
