Less than a year has passed since our new SUSE business unit was formed following the acquisition of Novell. In that relatively short period of time, a lot of exciting things have been happening here at SUSE. Our customers and partners around the world have welcomed the new focus on SUSE solutions and innovations. And, inside SUSE, we’ve been hard at work on new initiatives and innovations where it matters most to our customers and partners. For example we’ve recently announced new initiatives in cloud infrastructure with OpenStack, and ground-breaking new public cloud and ISV initiatives with our key alliance partners. And now, we’re ready to announce another important step in the growth of the new SUSE.

Our first annual SUSE partner and customer conference: SUSECon 2012. This global, Linux-focused event will take place September 18-21 in Orlando, Florida.

Join us, and hundreds of other SUSE users and partners, for a wide range of business and technical sessions focused on Linux and SUSE technologies. Together with sponsors from the top global companies in the hardware and software industry, we will dive into the latest technologies and directions in enterprise Linux, integrated systems and cloud computing. For more conference details, visit http://www.susecon.com.

This will be the best opportunity of the year to see what’s new and what’s coming from SUSE.

I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
