Planning your trip ✈️

  • Book your Hotel: Choose a stay within a short walking distance from the IFEMA Madrid. Check the map of official hotels
  • Public transportation: SAP offers a free pass for Sapphire attendees. Pro tip: Use the ticket for easy commuting between your hotel and the IFEMA. Get your ticket here.
  • Parking: If you’re planning to drive to the event, you should use the parking in the Red/Brown lot located behind Hall 10. More than 1,900 slots are available. Electric cars can be parked and charged, at a cost, in the Iberdrola charging stations located in the Yellow lot at the southern end of the venue. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, including accessible parking.

  • Plan your week: Check the different activities scheduled throughout the event. The official expo hall and sessions will run from Monday, May 26, to Wednesday, May 28.

Before you go 🎒

  • Schedule your sessions: The session catalog is regularly updated.   • Plan your meetings: Maximize your time by checking the Sponsor list. Book your meeting with SUSE today. Target sponsors who offer solutions relevant to your needs. Pro tip: Take your time while navigating the expo area.   • What to wear?: The event guidelines say the dress code is business casual. But comfort is key! Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes and something that makes you feel like yourself. I have seen jeans, skirts, t-shirts, dresses, suits, it’s very open!
  • Download the app: The SAP Sapphire Madrid app is your essential companion for navigating the event, scheduling sessions, finding food, and connecting with attendees. Pro tip: Registered attendees will be notified via email when the app is ready to download.
    The app for SAP Sapphire in 2025 will be released to the SAP Events mobile app Container available in the Apple and Google Play stores before the event dates.

 

At the event 📍

  • Pick up your badge early: You’ll receive your badge upon check-in near the exit of the baggage claim area for all terminals at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD). You will need to provide a photo ID. Once you have your badge, don’t lose it. You must have a badge to enter all official areas of the event. => Badge pick-up hours are: Monday, May 26: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
    You can also pick up your conference badge at the North entrance of the IFEMA Madrid convention center. 

    • Monday, May 26: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. 
    • Tuesday, May 27: 7:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. 
    • Wednesday, May 28: 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
  • Where to get breakfast and coffee?: Food and beverages will be available at the conference throughout the day. Breakfast is included in all official SAP-affiliated conference hotels.
  • Arrive early for the Keynote: The opening keynote is a thing you don’t want to miss. It really sets the tone for the event. Secure a good spot for the opening keynote on Tuesday, May 27, starting at 8:30 a.m.
  • Snacks and drinks: Stay hydrated at the various drink stations throughout the venue, but consider bringing your own refillable water bottle. While healthy snacks and fruits are provided, they’re not substantial enough to replace a meal.
    Get a vitamin push and get a fresh juice at the Juice Bar on Monday and Tuesday during the breaks.
  • Explore the expo hall: You’ll find partner booths in the North Concourse as well as the session theaters. Don’t miss the SUSE booth (#7.520) to see business solutions in action. These solutions let you manage your SAP workloads in the cloud, on-premises‌ and in hybrid and multi-cloud environments safely. Pro tip: Balance your time between sessions and the expo hall to maximize your experience.
  • Attend the sessions: Take notes during sessions and connect with the expert speakers afterward. Pro tip: Don’t miss the chance to talk to them. Stay until the end of their session and talk to them, introduce yourself‌ and ask any questions. 
  • Take a break: Take a break, but do it near a lounge area where you can connect with others. Pro tips: Coffee stations are great places to meet people as you wait for a drink. Or come hang out at the SUSE booth (#7.520) where you can talk to our experts!
  • Wireless access: Yes, the convention center has wireless internet access. The wireless ID and password will be on the back of your conference badge. Pro tip: Bring a power bank to keep your devices charged.
