NOTE: This certification exam will be retired on 30 October 2026. It will be replaced by the new SCA in SUSE Security certification.

The SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) in SUSE NeuVector 5 certification is designed for IT administrators and other persons responsible for managing application security, and even application developers for containerized environments. This certification validates fundamental knowledge of using SUSE NeuVector Management Console and command line utilities to perform administrative tasks after the actual SUSE NeuVector 5 deployment. Configuration and management tasks included are for example scanning images and compliance, as well as managing runtime security for containerized applications. Runtime security provides real time security management for processes, files, and network traffic.

How to Earn the Certification

To earn the SCA in SUSE NeuVector 5, you need to pass the core exam.  There are no prerequisites or alternative ways to earn the certification.
