Connecting with SSH (SFTP) from GNOME Files fails

SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15 SP4


On SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15 SP4, attempting to connect with SSH/SFTP to a remote SSH server using  GNOME Files app fails. Connecting to the remote server with SSH from the terminal works instead.

This error message can be seen in /var/log/messages:

Install gnome-disk-utility package:
zypper in gnome-disk-utility


The error message is related to the package gnome-disk-utility which is missing
