Connecting with SSH (SFTP) from GNOME Files fails

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15 SP4

Situation

On SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15 SP4, attempting to connect with SSH/SFTP to a remote SSH server using  GNOME Files app fails. Connecting to the remote server with SSH from the terminal works instead.

This error message can be seen in /var/log/messages:
2023-01-24T12:32:17.346887+00:00 localhost gnome-shell[2311]: JS ERROR: TypeError: disksApp is null#012_init@resource:///org/gnome/shell/ui/shellMountOperation.js:391:20#012AskPasswordAsync@resource:///org/gnome/shell/ui/shellMountOperation.js:624:24#012_handleMethodCall@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/core/overrides/Gio.js:354:35#012_wrapJSObject/<@resource:///org/gnome/gjs/modules/core/overrides/Gio.js:387:34

Resolution

Install gnome-disk-utility package:
zypper in gnome-disk-utility

Cause

The error message is related to the package gnome-disk-utility which is missing
