Situation

The actual version of Cyrus Imap included on SLES 10 SP1 and SP2 does not include the flushseenstate feature.

Resolution

This feature was included into Cyrus iMap shipped with SLES10 SP3 and newer.

Additional Information

flushseenstate is an option that causes imapd to immediately flush changes to the disk rather than caching them until mailbox is closed. It affects only Outlook express email clients. Without the "flushseenstate" feature users cannot clear unread email as read until they shut down and restart their outlook client.
