From Architecture to Action
SUSE Virtualization runs KVM virtual machines as Kubernetes workloads. Every VM is a pod. No separate hypervisor kernel. No external SAN.
KubeVirt schedules VMs across nodes the same way Kubernetes schedules containers. Longhorn replicates volumes across all three nodes with no external storage required. SUSE Rancher Prime sits above the cluster as a single management plane for both the HCI layer and any Kubernetes clusters provisioned on top of it.
