SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is now available in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) free usage tier, allowing new customers to use the Linux platform for up to 750 hours each month as they test drive SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
“The availability of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on Amazon EC2 in the AWS free usage tier gives customers the opportunity to experiment in a public cloud environment with a proven, enterprise-class platform for development, test and production workloads,” said Doug Jarvis, Cloud Solutions marketing manager for SUSE. “With enough hours to run continuously each month over the course of a year, new users have the flexibility to test a variety of workloads and use cases, at no cost, before scaling them within Amazon EC2.”
