Situation
After updating the sysstat package to version 12.0.2-150000.3.45.3, the system log files receive the messages similar to below every time that the sa2 process runs, which is normally once per day to generate the sar data report:
sa2[<pid>]: find: unknown predicate `-H'
Where <pid> is the process id (pid) of the sa2 process that generated the error.
Resolution
Updating to version 12.0.2-150000.3.48.3 of the sysstat package resolves the issue.
Cause
The issue that is causing the message is the improper ordering of the command options for the find command inside the /usr/lib64/sa/sa2 script file. This appears to be a cosmetic issue, as the daily sar report is still generated.
