Environment

Situation

When performing a spacewalk-schema-upgrade the following error is seen:

Schema upgrade: [susemanager-schema-3.0.21-25.3.1] ->
[susemanager-schema-3.1.9-2.3.1]
Searching for upgrade path to: [susemanager-schema-3.1.9-2.3.1]
Searching for upgrade path to: [susemanager-schema-3.1.9]
Searching for start path: [susemanager-schema-3.0.21-25.3.1]
Searching for start path: [susemanager-schema-3.0.21]
Was not able to find upgrade path in directory [/etc/sysconfig/rhn/schema-upgrade]

Resolution

A patch which will permanently fix this problem will be released shortly.
Currently the following workaround can be used:

1. cd /etc/sysconfig/rhn/schema-upgrade
2. mkdir susemanager-schema-3.0.21-to-susemanager-schema-3.1.0/
3. spacewalk-schema-upgrade
