Description

Todd Miller's sudo version 1.8.20 and earlier is vulnerable to an input validation (embedded spaces) in the get_process_ttyname() function resulting in information disclosure and command execution.

This security issue affects sudo 1.7.10 up to 1.7.10p9 and sudo 1.8.5 up to 1.8.20p1. The sudo versions on SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 and older products are not affected. This issue is also only a problem if the system operates in SELinux mode.
