Definition
This “Sovereign” designation allows SUSE One Partners to attest that their products or services are optimized for SUSE environments and Digital Sovereignty.
This self-validation process empowers partners to attest that their offerings meet the specific jurisdictional, data, and operational requirements of their region. By obtaining this designation, you declare that your services are built to withstand regional legal challenges.
Requirements
To receive your “Sovereign” designation, you must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Sovereignty Self-Assessment
Partners must complete and submit the Partner Sovereignty Self-Assessment form
to declare their status across four critical pillars:
- Legal: Your entity’s immunity from foreign extraterritorial laws.
- Data: Your commitment to physical residency and customer-led encryption.
- Operations: Your use of open standards and supply chain transparency (SBOM).
- Workforce: Your declaration that support and administration are handled exclusively by regional, resident personnel.
2. Technical Deployment Validation
To demonstrate compatibility with SUSE solutions, you must achieve the appropriate designation for your offering:
- ISVs: SUSE Ready or SUSE Certified
- MSPs, CSPs, SIs, & other Service Providers: Verified Services
3. Support Declaration
To begin the review process, please contact the INNOVATE team (certifications@suse.com) and submit your self-assessment and results from the technical validation that you have completed. We will review your submission. If accepted, your offering will be officially added to the Partner Certification & Solutions Catalog
