At SUSE, we believe the most successful technology transformations don’t happen in a vacuum—they happen when partners work together to build comprehensive solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. As enterprise workloads become more complex, our mission has always been to meet our customers exactly where they want to buy, with the open source flexibility and security they trust.

That is why we are thrilled by Microsoft’s recent announcement detailing the massive global expansion of its Multiparty Private Offers (MPO) program on the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace.

Starting May 27, 2026, Microsoft officially unlocked MPO capabilities across 30 new countries in Europe—including key economic hubs like Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. With additional roadmaps stretching to Japan, Australia, and South Africa later this summer, Microsoft is fundamentally rewriting the playbook for global cloud co-selling.

Why This is a Game-Changer for Our Shared Ecosystem

For years, SUSE and Microsoft have shared a deep, long-term partnership built on a foundation of complementary cloud strengths. From running mission-critical enterprise platforms like SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP Applications seamlessly on Azure, to managing decentralized cloud native environments, our technology aligns naturally with Microsoft’s enterprise infrastructure.

This MPO expansion unlocks a friction-free marketplace path that benefits everyone in the chain:

  • For Our Shared Customers: Enterprise buyers can now purchase secure SUSE software from the local, trusted channel partners and systems integrators they’ve worked with for decades. Best of all, 100% of these transactions can directly draw down on their pre-committed cloud budgets like the Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC), delivering massive cost optimizations.
  • For Our Reseller & Channel Partners: Local partners are no longer left on the sidelines of marketplace velocity. MPOs allow partners to customize commercial structures, inject value-added professional consulting services, and take the lead on cloud deals without regional cross-border compliance bottlenecks.

Accelerating Momentum with SUSE Cloud Elevate

The next phase of cloud marketplace growth is entirely partner-led. Analysts estimate the cloud marketplace market will reach $163 billion by 2030, with nearly 60% of those transactions driven straight through the channel.

As a long-term Microsoft partner, SUSE has anticipated this momentum. We have built out our product catalog, enhanced our marketplace transactability, and aligned our teams to support multi-party agreements across borders effortlessly.

To help our partner network capitalize on this momentum immediately, we invite all our channel partners and systems integrators to participate in the SUSE Cloud Elevate Program. Through Cloud Elevate, we provide the sales enablement, account mapping, and deal-registration incentives required to turn regional pipelines into closed revenue.
