Student opportunities
Research with SUSE
SUSE offers the possibility of developing a Master's or Bachelor's Thesis with a SUSE Software Engineer acting as consultant. Currently, we offer this for the Czech Technical University as well as the Mathematics and Physics faculty of Charles University.
Opportunities can be found at the opportunities postings of the Czech Technical University, and it should be able to enquire about them via that portal. We also participate in the yearly presentation of student projects at MFF UK.
We also try to keep our opportunities up to date on the student run website studentske projekty.
Google Summer of Code
SUSE doesn't participate directly in Google Summer of Code, but many of our upstream projects do.
Check out available opportunities with openSUSE. This is a great way to dive into an open source project and get hands-on open source experience and contributions. This is available worldwide.
Just start coding…
At SUSE, we value initiative and having a portfolio of open source.
Check out openSUSE repos, SUSE repos, and start with some small improvement or project. All of our current technology leaders started with that first merge.
Our senior engineers share their journeys
