Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension 11 (HAE)

<clone id="stonith-clone">
  <meta_attributes id="stonith-clone-meta_attributes">
    <nvpair id="stonith-clone-meta_attributes-target-role" name="target-role" value="Started"/>
  </meta_attributes>
  <primitive class="stonith" id="clone1" type="external/sbd">
    <operations id="clone1-operations">
      <op id="clone1-op-monitor-3600" interval="3600" name="monitor" start-delay="15" timeout="20"/>
    </operations>
    <instance_attributes id="clone1-instance_attributes">
      <nvpair id="clone1-instance_attributes-sbd_device" name="sbd_device" value="/dev/sdc1"/>
    </instance_attributes>
  </primitive>
</clone>

Resolution

Delete the STONITH clone resource and recreate it as a primitive resource.

Cause

STONITH resources must be configured as primitives in HAE11. They are not configured like they were in SLES10.
