howto automatically rebuild a broken md with HAE

This document (7008537) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension 11 Service Pack 1
SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension 11 Service Pack 2

Situation

A md raid is broken due to a disk that has been unavailable.

Resolution

Add the option OCF_CHECK_LEVEL=10 to the primitive ocf:heartbeat:Raid1 in the monitor section. For example:
op monitor interval=300s OCF_CHECK_LEVEL=10
This configuration will check every 5 minutes if the missing disk can be re-added again.

Additional Information

This is only working for HAE. There is no option to automatically rebuild/re-enable a broken md Raid on SLES11 or SLES10.
