With SUSE Manager, a new Service Pack is now just a few clicks away!

For quite a while SUSE Manager has been supporting Service Pack upgrades via AutoYaST and the SUSE Manager remote provisioning feature.

Now there is an even easier way of migrating a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to a new Service Pack, built right into the SUSE Manager Web UI!

As usual I wanted to provide screenshots to you. But as we have nice screenshots in the documentation, I’m using the opportunity to advertise the online documentation instead.

Joachim Werner I am the Principal Product Manager for Industrial and Retail Edge at SUSE. As an early adopter of Open Source software I've been working in the software industry for over 25 years. Before joining SUSE in early 2004, I got a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and then had my own software business for a couple of years.
