gnome-shell accessed through VNC viewer aborts

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP3
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP2

Situation

The problem is seen after an update to the latest librsvg release (2.46.5-3.3.1) and so far only on PowerPC.

Login through VNC viewer and access the "Show Applications" icon.
Gnome Desktop will crash and dump a core and the following message appears:
"Oh no! Something has gone wrong"

The core shows:

Resolution

The librsvg update released December 2021 (librsvg-2.46.5-3.6.1) includes the patch to resolve the problem.

Cause

A problem with the rust compiler was causing the problem. Recompiling the packages with rust-1.53.0-19.1 resolves the problem.
