This document (000020298) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

SUSE Manager Server 4.2

When performing a PXE boot from a system with EFI, the server comes directly back to the EFI menu.

When performing a network trace, the following can be seen:

tcpdump: verbose output suppressed, use -v or -vv for full protocol decode
listening on eth0, link-type EN10MB (Ethernet), capture size 500 bytes
08:46:56.483073 IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.netview-aix-11 > server.name.tftp: 43 RRQ "grub/grub.efi" octet tsize 0 blksize 1468

Change the following in /etc/cobbler/settings.:
bootloaders_dir: "/usr/share/syslinux"
bootloaders_dir: "/var/lib/cobbler/loaders"
After the file is save, perform:
systemctl restart cobblerd
cobbler sync

The problem is a wrong parameter in /etc/cobbler/settings.
