Situation

When trying to upgrade a SUSE Manager 5.0 to SUSE Multi-Linux-Manager 5.1 with the below command:

Resolution

Check if a file named /etc/SUSEConnect does exist

ls -la /etc/SUSEConnect

If the file does not exist, create it:

touch /etc/SUSEConnect

Afterwards repeat the migration command.

The issue will be fixed with the release of the SUSE Multi Linux Manager extension 5.1.1.
