Situation

This token-related error occurs while trying to install a package on the client.  This message reflects that the token was not sent to the server.

susemanager:centos7-updates-x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. https://<SuSEManager.domain>:443/rhn/manager/download/centos7-updates-x86_64/repodata/7ebcc6261044057e855bf03ef1a2b519a23ba1b102442fff4cd1af109dbc951c-filelists.xml.gz: [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 403 - Forbidden

2022-08-22 08:15:15,200 [ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8009-exec-6] INFO com.suse.manager.webui.controllers.DownloadController -
Forbidden: You need a token to access /manager/download/wapi-envdiv-rhel7-microsoft-x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml

Resolution

Run a highstate on the client.  The highstate will deploy a plugin on the client which converts the token in the repository config into a header field when yum does a request.

Cause

The token in the repository config is not reaching the server, hence we need to convert the token to a header field by applying highstate.
