Migration failed.

A bug is open and a fix is being determined.

The workaround is:
  • Before performing the migration, edit /etc/regionserverclnt.cfg and change dataProvider to:
    dataProvider = /usr/sbin/azuremetadata -t --xml
  • Run the migration as documented.
  • After the migration finishes, switch /etc/regionserverclnt.cfg to the original metadata command:
    dataProvider = /usr/bin/azuremetadata --api 2019-08-15 --subscriptionId --billingTag --xml
