SUSE® today announced the availability of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Through SUSE's "bring-your-own-subscription" program, customers can use their existing subscriptions to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications to develop and test SAP workloads on AWS. As a result, customers benefit from flexible AWS infrastructure that matches their changing needs while using the leading Linux platform for SAP solutions.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications on AWS also includes a technical preview of high availability resource agents for deployments of the SAP HANA platform. These agents allow HANA instances to failover between AWS availability zones.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, the recommended and supported operating system for use with SAP HANA, is based on SUSE Linux Enterprise 12, the reliable, scalable and secure platform for efficiently deploying and managing highly available enterprise-class IT services in physical, virtual or cloud infrastructure. SUSE customers can transfer existing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications subscriptions to AWS through a simple online enrollment.
