fence_azure_arm fails to fence with ERROR: Failed: 'ServicePrincipalCredentials' object has no attribute 'get_token'

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP3
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP2
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP1
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP5
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP4
 

Situation

During a fatal cluster condition which requires STONITH fencing with Azure's stonith:fence_azure_arm fencing agent, the fencing action fails and reports the following error:

 ERROR: Failed: 'ServicePrincipalCredentials' object has no attribute 'get_token'

Resolution

Update to a fixed fence-agents version and install the the Azure Identity python module if it is missing. 
SLES12 uses python v2 by default whereas SLES15 uses python v3.

SLES15 SP3
Install fence-agents-4.9.0+git.1624456340.8d746be9-3.5.1 or later and python3-azure-identity

SLES15 SP2
Install fence-agents-4.9.0+git.1624456340.8d746be9-7.29.1 or later and python3-azure-identity

SLES15 SP1
Install fence-agents-4.9.0+git.1624456340.8d746be9-7.29.1 or later and python3-azure-identity

SLES12 SP5
Install fence-agents-4.9.0+git.1624456340.8d746be9-3.29.1 or later and python-azure-identity

SLES12 SP4
Install fence-agents-4.9.0+git.1624456340.8d746be9-3.29.1 or later and python-azure-identity
