SUSE®, a global leader in true open source innovation, today announced financial results* and highlights from the fourth quarter of its fiscal year 2020 ended Oct. 31.
SUSE’s Q4 ACV (annual contract value) bookings continued fast global growth, despite persistent COVID-19 impact during the quarter. All regions showed double-digit growth, including a 27% increase in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. In addition, cloud ACV bookings continued to thrive with 87% growth, achieving 15 consecutive quarters of year over year cloud ACV increase. SUSE also saw a 21% increase year over year in customer deals worth more than $1 million.
“World conditions continue to challenge businesses and societies, so a clear focus on delivering essential customer value is vital,” said Melissa Di Donato, SUSE CEO. “We respond with innovative technology, sound strategy and sharp execution, led by a commitment to our customers that shapes everything we do. We recognize the importance of providing open source solutions that are and will continue to be used to lift businesses across the globe. It was the driver for our success in Q4, and it will drive us in the future.”
SUSE continues to focus on growth and expansion, fueled both organically and through potential acquisitions. As initially disclosed in July, SUSE expects to soon announce the close of its acquisition of Rancher Labs, the market leader in Kubernetes management. The combined company will empower customers to innovate with speed and agility. The industry’s only adaptable Linux operating system, the industry’s only truly open, interoperable Kubernetes management platform, and great Edge solutions will give enterprises the power to innovate everywhere.
*Unaudited results (non IFRS at budget exchange).
