SUSE Linux AG is thrilled to celebrate its 10th anniversary. At its anniversary celebration, the company hosted about 300 guests from all over the world. Under the motto "The First 10 Years", the event featured a number of prominent speakers as well as a colorful evening party for customers and partners of SUSE Linux AG.
The speeches of leading industry representatives drew attention to the competence and potential of SUSE Linux AG. With keen interest, the audience listened to the addresses of Hermann-Josef Lamberti, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Bank, Erwin Staudt, General Manager of IBM Germany, Damian Sicking, Chief Editor of the German magazine "ComputerPartner", and - last but not least - Linux icon Jon "maddog" Hall, Executive Director of Linux International.
Representatives of the strategic partners Conectiva, Turbolinux, The SCO Group, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Novell, and IBM praised SUSE as an innovative software and systems developer. As a special highlight, Andrea Grießmann proudly announced the award of a prize: the IT retail magazine "IT Business News" labeled SUSE a "Recommended Manufacturer".
