Description:

This update for go1.18 fixes the following issues:

  • Remove remaining use of gold linker when bootstrapping with gccgo.

  • History: go1.8.3 2017-06-18 added conditional if gccgo defined BuildRequires: binutils-gold for arches other than s390x

  • No information available why binutils-gold was used initially
  • Unrelated to upstream recent hardcoded gold dependency for ARM
