Recommended update for lftp

SUSE Recommended Update: Recommended update for lftp
Announcement ID: SUSE-RU-2016:2393-1
Rating: low
References: #975913
Affected Products:
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12-SP1
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 12-SP1

  • An update that has one recommended fix can now be installed.

This update for lftp provides the following fixes:

    - Allow lftp to recover gracefully when IPv6 support is disabled. The lftp
client prefers IPv6 addresses by default, but if IPv6 support is
disabled in the kernel (i.e. by setting systcl
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1), then lftp would abort with an error
rather than falling back to the target machine's IPv4 address.
