8.4 rcslms

The rcslms command is used for starting, stopping, and restarting SLMS service, and for checking its status.

Usage:

rcslms subcommand

The command understands the following subcommands:

start

Starts the SLMS service.

stop

Stops the SLMS service and unloads SLMS Apache plug-ins.

status

Checks if the SLMS service is running.

restart

Stops the SLMS service and starts it again.

try-restart

Restarts the SLMS service if it is running.

help

Prints brief usage information.

To restart the SLMS service, enter the following in the command line:

tux@venus:~> rcslms restart
