Enterprise Service Catalog Manager 16.0.x

Enterprise Service Catalog Manager (ESCM), which is based on Open Service Catalog Manager, provides a self-service platform for enterprises and service providers to deliver their software, infrastructure, or platform services to service consumers.
Enterprise Service Catalog Manager has linkage plugins that seamlessly connect to each type of cloud as well as other features, including functions for calculating usage fees based on actual usage and for generating reports. Services can be ported to the online platform with small effort because all the necessary business enablement features are already in place – including user registration, user and subscription management, service provisioning, reporting, and functionality for processing payments and invoicing.

By using Enterprise Service Catalog Manager, users are able to raise the operational efficiency of their cloud environments and enhance the convenience of cloud services.
With the 16.0.x versions, some new features have been introduced.

Marketplace owners can restrict the access to their marketplaces to users of specific organizations.
For integrating with external process management systems, ESCM provides REST (Representational State Transfer) APIs in addition to the existing SOAP-based APIs.
ESCM installed in SAML_SP authentication mode now provides partial support of SAML logout.

A new option allows customers to view the applicable charging conditions and prices on any of the pages displayed when subscribing to a service on a marketplace.
Operators can hide the dialogs and options for specifying payment types and billing addresses on the marketplaces and exclude customer payment information from billing and payment preview reports.
A new full-text search enables marketplace users to search for subscriptions by one or more terms in the subscription name, reference number, parameters of type string, or custom attributes.

For each technical service, the responsible technology provider can decide whether the native billing system of ESCM or one of the integrated external ones is to be used.
The calculation of the costs for using the services and subscriptions as well as the billing and payment processing take place in the external billing system.
