Enterprise Service Catalog Manager 16.1.x

Enterprise Service Catalog Manager (ESCM), which is based on Open Service Catalog Manager, provides a self-service platform for enterprises and service providers to deliver their software, infrastructure, or platform services to service consumers.
Enterprise Service Catalog Manager has linkage plugins that seamlessly connect to each type of cloud as well as other features, including functions for calculating usage fees based on actual usage and for generating reports. Services can be ported to the online platform with small effort because all the necessary business enablement features are already in place – including user registration, user and subscription management, service provisioning, reporting, and functionality for processing payments and invoicing.

By using Enterprise Service Catalog Manager, users are able to raise the operational efficiency of their cloud environments and enhance the convenience of cloud services.
From version 16.1, ESCM additionally provides a VMware adapter (VMware vSphere). The integration of ESCM and VMware vSphere provides for an IaaS solution that leverages the features of both products: Through services, which are published on a marketplace, users can request and use VMs on a vSphere server. The usage costs can be calculated and charged by means of the ESCM billing and payment services.

The OpenStack integration software has been adapted and extended so that it can be used with FUJITSU Cloud Service K5, a cloud platform based on OpenStack. Multi-tenancy support has been introduced: The platform operator can now define and manage additional tenants and associate an IdP system with them. Several tenants can be associated with one and the same IdP system. Any marketplace can then be associated with a tenant. The marketplace and the corresponding administration portal are "tenant-specific".
The extension interface has been improved.

Additional functionality has been added for IaaS service adapters: ESCM now provides a predefined tab to view detailed information of virtual machines (VMs) booked for IaaS services, for example, OpenStack or Amazon Web Services (AWS). The administrator of a customer organization can now set the value for a custom attribute, for example, user credentials for accessing an IaaS account such as OpenStack. The credentials are then used for all subscriptions of the customers of a specific supplier.
