Enterprise Service Catalog Manager 17.1
Enterprise Service Catalog Manager (ESCM), which is based on Open Service Catalog Manager, provides a self-service platform for enterprises and service providers to deliver their software, infrastructure, or platform services to service consumers. Enterprise Service Catalog Manager has linkage plugins that seamlessly connect to each type of cloud as well as other features, including functions for calculating usage fees based on actual usage and for generating reports. Services can be ported to the online platform with small effort because all the necessary business enablement features are already in place – including user registration, user and subscription management, service provisioning, reporting, and functionality for processing payments and invoicing. By using Enterprise Service Catalog Manager, users are able to raise the operational efficiency of their cloud environments and enhance the convenience of cloud services.
From version 17.1, the OpenStack service controller supports for managing HEAT templates allowing to deploy multiple VMs. The technology manager now has the option to import templates that can be referenced in a technical service definition into the APP database. The APP administrator can now change some configuration settings for APP using the APP Web interface where service controllers are registered.
