Bareos – Open-Source Backup & Recovery 25

Bareos (Backup Archiving Recovery Open Sourced) is open-source backup and recovery software for modern IT environments. 
Licensed under AGPLv3 and available on GitHub, it is built for transparency, reliability and independence from vendor lock-in. Bareos supports major Linux platforms including SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and openSUSE, as well as Windows and macOS, and offers plugins for VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox, databases and other workloads.

Bareos 25 includes new plugins and platform improvements such as Proxmox support, Hyper-V support, and Windows disaster recovery capabilities. It is designed for backup and recovery in physical and virtual environments across major platforms.
