Config Notes

8.0 obligatory: install alsa and alsa-driver update from our: ftp server DMA can not be enabled for IDE devices on this machine. This results in very slow harddisk performance. This behaviour is fixed in recent kernels, and will be verified when a kernel update is available for SUSE LINUX 8.0 certification is not valid for the onboard vga card. (system is certified with a nVidia GForce 4MX 420 / 16MB RAM)
