HPE Proliant Gen10 systems

Situation

When booting SLES11SP4 on HPE ProLiant Gen10 systems containing Intel(TM) processors of Family 6 Model 85 (code name: Skylake), the following message will be observed :

Cause

The message is referring specifically to the advanced power management capabilities of this processor model, which are not available in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.
