eXtremeDB
eXtremeDB is a small-footprint, in-memory and/or persistent database system designed explicitly for embedded applications and IoT systems. eXtremeDB can be embedded, with your choice of SQL or native APIs for C, C++, C#, Java and Python, or itcan be used in client/server mode, including support for horizontal scalability via sharding and a sophisticated distributed SQL query engine, as well as support for stored procedures in the LUA language. eXtremeDB High Availability, Cluster and Active Data Replication for the IoT round out the product family. eXtremeDB is a trusted solution with more than 30 million systems deployed worldwide in consumer electronics, network and telecom equipment, industrial control, finance, aerospace & defense and other connected gear.

Rancher Catalog
This icon indicates whether the software is included in the Rancher Catalog.
Rancher Extension
This icon indicates whether the software is a Rancher Extension.
Cloud-Native Network Function
This icon indicates whether the software possesses Cloud-Native Network Functionality
High Availability
This icon indicates whether the software provider has flagged the compatibility of the application with the SUSE High Availability extension. Success may include the application running in an HA environment, or it may include extensions to the application to exploit and integrate with the HA feature. Please see the software provider's web site for more details.
Integrated System Available
This icon indicates whether a pre-built, pre-configured integrated version of the application is available. This may also be called an appliance and may be packaged as a hardware appliance, a software appliance, or a virtual appliance.
Virtualization Ready
This icon indicates whether the software provider supports the application in any of the virtualized environments that work with SUSE Linux Enterprise. These may include one or more of Xen, KVM, VMWare, or other hosting environments. Also note that virtualization support can mean that the solution can be used in the cloud environment. Please see the software provider's web site for more details concerning which environment(s) are supported by the provider.
eXtremeDB Cluster
eXtremeDB Cluster (active/active) is McObject’s distributed real-time database system. It manages databases across multiple hardware nodes, enabling two or more servers to share the workload. A transaction committed on any node is automatically and transparently replicated to every other node is the cluster. It dramatically increases available net processing power, reduces system expansion costs, and delivers a more scalable and reliable database solution than single node solutions (the cluster survives as long as there is a quorum of nodes in the cluster).

eXtremeDB High Availability (HA)
eXtremeDB High Availability (active/passive) is a fault-tolerant version for the in-memory and persistent eXtremeDB embedded database systems. Designed for systems that cannot afford to fail, eXtremeDB HA delivers the highest degree of reliability, along with its unsurpassed performance and exceptionally small footprint. For maximum consistency, eXtremeDB HA offers a rugged, time-cognizant two-phase commit (2-safe) protocol that ensures changes to the main instance database and identical standby instances succeed or fail together. For maximum performance, eXtremeDB also offers asynchronous replication (1-safe). eXtremeDB-HA replicates transactions, so transactional consistency is always guaranteed.

eXtremeDB Transaction Logging
eXtremeDB Transaction Logging provides recovery capabilities for McObject's in-memory embedded database in the event of device or system failure. When transaction logging is active and enabled, all updates to the data objects are logged to a set of files on disk, or on a network device. If the memory content is damaged or destroyed, the exact state of the database is restored by an automatic roll forward procedure.

eXtremeSQL
McObject's eXtremeSQL embedded database interface is a high-performance implementation of the SQL database programming language for eXtremeDB. eXtremeDB combined with eXtremeSQL is an ideal solution for application development in fields where real-time responsiveness is a must and SQL is the dominant database language. eXtremeSQL supports JDBC and ODBC, and direct APIs (no driver needed) for C, C++, Java and Python, and stored procedures in the LUA language.
