An update that contains five features and has two fixes can now be installed.

Description:

This update for powerpc-utils fixes the following issues:

  • New IBM POWER firmware supports new devicetree format for storing system topology in devicetree. Support for this new format was optional but with new firmware and large system configuration the data cannot be represented with the old inefficient format anymore. (jsc#SLE-11094, jsc#SLE-11193, jsc#SLE-11092, jsc#SLE-11319, jsc#ECO-935) (fate#326955)
  • Logical Partition (LPAR) losing Resource Monitoring and Control (RMC) after Live Partition Mobility (LPM) operation on POWER systems with more than 24TB main memory installed (bsc#1161925) (bsc#1158312)
