Calamari does not detect any configured clusters

Environment

SUSE Enterprise Storage 3
SUSE Enterprise Storage 4

Situation

After running the command "ceph-deploy calamari connect --master master_host node1 node2 ..." the Calamari web interface states:

"This appears to be the first time you have started Calamari and there are no clusters currently configured"

or

"No Cluster Available"

Resolution

When running the Calamari connect ceph-deploy command it is required to include the Monitor (MON) nodes as part of the node list.

Cause

No monitor nodes were included with the Calamari connect command.

Additional Information

To additionally verify cluster information is properly available the output of the command "salt '*' ceph.get_heartbeats --output json" can be examined. Make sure there are entries for the MONs as per the below example output:
