Resolution

For SLES15 SP5, this is fixed in a maintenance release:

          wicked-0.6.74-150500.3.15.1.x86_64

Changelog contains:  + vxlan: don't format unknown rtnl attrs (bsc#1219751)

For SLES15 SP4, a patch has been created by engineering which provides a resolution.

If there is a future maintenance release containing the SLES15 SP4 patch, this document will be updated to reflect that information.

Cause

This is due to a bug.
