How to define a default for PXE Grub menu

Environment

SUSE Manager Server 4.2

Situation

Servers to be installed are having EFI.
The servers should be installed with another default then local.

Resolution

Change the following line in the file /var/lib/cobbler/grub_config/grub/grub.cfg:

set default='local'

set default='mydistribution:1:suse>myprofile:1:suse'

After the change perform:

cobbler restart cobblerd
cobbler sync

To change the time to wait for the default is executed change in the same file:

set timeout=5
