Public Cloud Module on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 LTSS versions

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 2 (SLES 12 SP2)
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 1 (SLES 12 SP1)

Situation

Customers who want to use the contents of the SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 Public Cloud Module on SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 LTSS versions might experience that new functionality may not be available during the LTSS period and that new functionality may  only become available for the latest service pack of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12.

Resolution

In case one wants to use the most recent packages of the Public Cloud Module it's recommended to upgrade to the latest service pack of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12.

If one wants to use the Public Cloud Module on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 LTSS versions, there might be some cases where the latest version of a particular package cannot be installed. In that case, one needs to install a previous version. One can find out the different versions of a package by running "zypper se -s [Package]".
