Use of special characters in SUSE Manager database passwords.

Environment

SUSE Manager 3

Situation

After entering a strong password containing special characters (like "$"), the database answer file is empty.

Resolution

Future versions of SUSE Manager will check for special characters, and deny their usage.

Cause

For example "$" and "\" are special purpose characters which should not be used in passwords.
