Log files are flooded when enabling audit servers

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3

Situation

When enabling audit servers /var/log/messages are flooded with:
...
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=682035
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=682035
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=682035
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=680898
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=680898
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=680898
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=696823
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=696823
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=696823
audit: name_count maxed, losing inode data: dev=00:07, inode=705073
...
etc. 

These messages are quite cosmetic and can also be filtered out.

Resolution

The issue is fixed with a maintenance update released April 2014.
