CR - Will my SuSE Linux Enterprise Server code expire after I renew my subscription?

Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
When a customer renews their subscription, they receive a new code for the next term or date range, and the old registration code still expires.
Emails are still automatically sent to the customer from Novell, warning them that the old registration code is expiring, but they don't need to worry if they already received and registered their new (renewal) activation code.
It is very important for customers to register each activation code (for each subscription) when they purchase or renew their products.
Active registration code #1 expires this year. A renewal subscription is ordered for the next year. The customer will receive a new registration code #2 because of their renewal of the subscription.
Code #1 will expire, but now that they have registered code #2, their service will not be disrupted.
